Agri-PV (Agri-Photovoltaics)

Agri-PV refers to the combination of agriculture and solar power generation on the same land area. Modules are installed so that crop farming or livestock grazing can continue underneath or between them. Agri-PV is defined as a "special solar installation" under the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG) and receives higher feed-in tariffs than standard ground-mounted PV. The DIN SPEC 91434 sets minimum requirements for agricultural use.
