The Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) is the central support legislation for renewable energies in Germany. Since 2023, agri-PV has been defined as a "special solar installation" with higher feed-in tariffs. The maximum bid value in auctions is 9.5 ct/kWh (2025/2026). The EEG guarantees support for 20 years plus the commissioning year.
