Permanent grassland is land that has been used as grassland for at least 5 years. It is specially protected (ploughing ban). Agri-PV on grassland is possible if the grass sward is preserved and the land continues to be managed as grassland (grazing, mowing). This must be demonstrated in the permitting process.
