Market Premium

EEG compensating payment for direct marketing of solar electricity.

The market premium compensates the difference between the EEG tariff and the monthly average exchange electricity price. If the exchange price is below the tariff, operators receive the difference as a market premium. When exchange prices are high, the premium drops to zero.
