Semi-Transparent Modules

Partially translucent solar modules allowing light to reach crops below.

Semi-transparent solar modules use thin-film technology or specific cell spacing to let part of the sunlight pass through. Typical transparency ranges from 20–40%. They are particularly relevant for greenhouse Agri-PV and light-demanding crops as an alternative to opaque modules.
