Albedo refers to the reflectivity of a surface. Bright soils, snow or certain plants reflect more light and increase the yield of bifacial modules. Typical albedo values: grass 0.20-0.25, snow 0.80-0.90. The albedo value plays an important role when planning agri-PV installations with bifacial modules.
